boot camp, Toledo

Boot camp style workout.

Typical routine: warm-up with Merkins, stretching, side-straddle-hops, etc.  Then proceed to the playground equipment and/or field for running mixed with strength training.  Finish off with the C.O.P (circle of pain) for merkins, planks, ab work, supermans, etc.

SATURDAYS always followed up with 2nd F (fellowship) at Executive Diner on Sylvania.

    Just like my students most PAX fail to read directions and we were scrambling for coupons. Nantan III saved the day w/ some dumbbells.
    We began with some arm circles and King Tuts to fire the shoulders up.

    Partnered up; 1 PAX Did various exercises while partner ran to different parts of the Oasis.

    Nantan III enjoyed the diverse playlist.

    Ended w/ NoR, CoR, CoT focused on the idea of having a 2 ball routine ( thankful Gap, Belding, Minnie, Chapo we’re not present). The idea is that when a Reds pitcher throws 2 straight balls – they have a routine to fix before they throw the next pitch.
    I applied this to my temper- develop a “2 ball routine” before I loose my cool.
