PAX – Bambi, Wild Sprayer, Gap, Cobra Commander, Romano, Socrates, Nougat, Poodle, Chanel
The cold affected both my brain and phone causing a brief delay. Synapses were misfiring so I avoided cadence all together. Also, I was a little preoccupied with my crotch as it was frozen from the earlier ruck. PAX carved out an ice-free area of the parking lot and we got down to business.
Warmed up in the bullpen with an annoying number of SSH and the demo of two new exercises ( both in need of monikers) APs and Snapdowns.
Innings were based on the length of a song; new song, new inning.
1st Inning – 10 Merkins, 10 Imperial Walkers (2 is 1), Jog repeato
2nd Inning 10 4-count squats, group count Plank, repeato
3rd Inning 10 Plunges , 10 pointers, (both 1 is 1) repeato
4th Inning – Jog – Arm Circles (Partner Runs, other does arm circles)

Oasis Scouting Report 2/6
Conditions – cold as a witch’s tit + a well digger’s ass.
Cobra Commander – dressed like he was part of an elite Alpine Rescue team; performed like he was part of an elite Alpine Rescue team. ( Elite here meaning exceptional at a skill, not the suburban meaning – my dad can write a 4 figure check so therefore I am elite.)
Wild Sprayer – for a guy just off the COVID DL list, he was exceptional. That he rucked and stayed for beatdown before work is impressive ( bordering on elite). Might enjoy Pride Rock a bit too much.
Romano – another guy who was out for a month and just killed it today. Great hearing his baseball stories on the ruck and watching him just plain get after it every inning.
Bambi – unfazed by a spill on the ice during the ruck. This guy is a bat flipper. Don’t sleep on him. The Oasis is going to try and keep him on the 40 man roster.
Nougat – had to go under the blue tent for a while with some frostbitten hands. Gutsy return to the diamond when the game was on line.
Gap – guy could probably make Len Dykstra blush; appreciate his willingness to push social norms in the cancel culture era. Form was elite; probably could have made a helluva ballerina if he had chosen that route.
Poodle – reminds me of myself (without the rumbling or the bumbling). Still has some smooth in his game. Having him next to Gap in the order can be problematic as GAp will down just about any path to hear the Poodle’s approving chuckle.
Chanel – not the strongest thrower but he is a high motor guy. If the Oasis had any walls he would run through them for you – performed like a top of the order guy this morning.
Socrates – Pencil him in the 3 spot. Looks and lives like a Viking – If you gave that guy a shield and axe I think he could pillage an entire settlement on his own. Great combo of brains and brawn
